In this week's People's Friend again, and very glad to be there (in fine company).
It's the latest in a long line On Reflection inspired by my grandchildren. Julie and I have eight between us in "steps and stairs" of ages. For the longest time there has been a child of two or three years old in our lives. It's my favourite age. They are growing out of the baby stage - where they are cute but can't do much - and they are starting to explore their world. They are seeing and doing most things for the first time. The world is still fresh and exciting to them. As an undeniably old man, that keeps me young at heart.
I love seeing the world as they see it!
Do you have little ones in your life? What are they teaching you / reminding you of?
